<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">We&#x20;studied&#x20;the&#x20;phtovoltaic&#x20;device&#x20;with&#x20;the&#x20;heterojunction&#x20;hybrid&#x20;structure&#x20;of&#x20;n-type&#x20;semiconductor&#x20;TiO2&#x20;and&#x20;p-type&#x20;conducting&#x20;polymer.&#x20;poly(2-methoxy,&#x20;5-(2&amp;apos;-ethyl-hexoxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene)&#x20;(MEHPPV).&#x20;The&#x20;polymer&#x20;layer&#x20;has&#x20;both&#x20;light&#x20;sensitizing&#x20;and&#x20;charge&#x20;transporting&#x20;functions.&#x20;PEDOT&#x20;layer&#x20;inserted&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;structure&#x20;of&#x20;ITO&#x2F;TiO2&#x2F;MEHPPV&#x2F;PEDOT&#x2F;Au&#x20;improved&#x20;the&#x20;fill&#x20;factor&#x20;as&#x20;well&#x20;as&#x20;the&#x20;conversion&#x20;efficiency.&#x20;The&#x20;PEDOT&#x20;modified&#x20;device&#x20;showed&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;J(sc),&#x20;V-oc,&#x20;FF&#x20;and&#x20;eta(p)&#x20;were&#x20;0.64&#x20;mA&#x2F;cm(2).&#x20;0.75&#x20;V,&#x20;0.54&#x20;and&#x20;0.49%,&#x20;respectively,&#x20;under&#x20;the&#x20;illumination&#x20;of&#x20;50&#x20;mW&#x2F;cm(2)&#x20;(AM&#x20;1.5).</dcvalue>
