<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;effect&#x20;of&#x20;alloying&#x20;elements,&#x20;annealing&#x20;times&#x20;and&#x20;temperatures&#x20;on&#x20;the&#x20;formation&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;annealing&#x20;textures&#x20;was&#x20;studied&#x20;in&#x20;two&#x20;high&#x20;purity&#x20;aluminums&#x20;with&#x20;purities&#x20;of&#x20;99.9951%&#x20;and&#x20;99.9929%.&#x20;In&#x20;order&#x20;to&#x20;investigate&#x20;the&#x20;evolution&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;R-&#x20;and&#x20;cube-orientations&#x20;during&#x20;annealing,&#x20;highly&#x20;cold&#x20;rolled&#x20;samples&#x20;were&#x20;annealed&#x20;at&#x20;different&#x20;temperatures&#x20;for&#x20;different&#x20;periods&#x20;of&#x20;time.&#x20;The&#x20;evolution&#x20;of&#x20;cold&#x20;rolling&#x20;and&#x20;annealing&#x20;textures&#x20;strongly&#x20;depended&#x20;on&#x20;the&#x20;purity&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;sample.&#x20;In&#x20;the&#x20;sample&#x20;having&#x20;a&#x20;purity&#x20;of&#x20;99.9951%,&#x20;relaxation&#x20;processes&#x20;took&#x20;place&#x20;during&#x20;the&#x20;cold&#x20;rolling,&#x20;which&#x20;led&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;formation&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;pronounced&#x20;B-orientation&#x20;after&#x20;cold&#x20;rolling.&#x20;The&#x20;R-orientation&#x20;was&#x20;not&#x20;observed&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;annealing&#x20;textures&#x20;of&#x20;this&#x20;sample.&#x20;A&#x20;typical&#x20;cold&#x20;rolling&#x20;texture&#x20;developed&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;less&#x20;pure&#x20;99.9929%&#x20;aluminum&#x20;sample,&#x20;which&#x20;gave&#x20;rise&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;formation&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;recrystallization&#x20;textures&#x20;comprising&#x20;both&#x20;strong&#x20;cube-&#x20;and&#x20;R-orientations.</dcvalue>
