<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;authors&#x20;demonstrated&#x20;a&#x20;novel&#x20;system&#x20;to&#x20;interrogate&#x20;the&#x20;Bragg&#x20;wavelengths&#x20;shift&#x20;of&#x20;an&#x20;array&#x20;of&#x20;in-fiber&#x20;Bragg&#x20;gratings.&#x20;The&#x20;system&#x20;used&#x20;another&#x20;array&#x20;of&#x20;in-fiber&#x20;Bragg&#x20;gratings&#x20;as&#x20;tracking&#x20;filters&#x20;to&#x20;track&#x20;the&#x20;shifting&#x20;reflected&#x20;wavelengths&#x20;of&#x20;in-fiber&#x20;Bragg&#x20;gratings&#x20;and&#x20;locate&#x20;the&#x20;peaks&#x20;of&#x20;wavelengths&#x20;by&#x20;a&#x20;digitizing&#x20;method.&#x20;A&#x20;grating&#x20;scale&#x20;was&#x20;employed&#x20;to&#x20;read&#x20;out&#x20;the&#x20;output&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;system.&#x20;The&#x20;resolution&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;system&#x20;was&#x20;less&#x20;than&#x20;1&#x20;muepsilon.&#x20;(C)&#x20;2002&#x20;Elsevier&#x20;Science&#x20;Ltd.&#x20;All&#x20;rights&#x20;reserved.</dcvalue>
