<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;adsorption&#x20;equilibrium&#x20;relationships&#x20;for&#x20;hexafluoropropene&#x20;and&#x20;1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane&#x20;on&#x20;commercially&#x20;available&#x20;activated&#x20;carbon&#x20;were&#x20;measured&#x20;by&#x20;a&#x20;static&#x20;volumetric&#x20;technique.&#x20;The&#x20;equilibrium&#x20;isotherms&#x20;were&#x20;obtained&#x20;at&#x20;(283.15,&#x20;303.15,&#x20;333.15,&#x20;and&#x20;363.15)K&#x20;and&#x20;pressures&#x20;up&#x20;to&#x20;100&#x20;kPa.&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;study,&#x20;the&#x20;experimental&#x20;equilibrium&#x20;data&#x20;were&#x20;correlated&#x20;satisfactorily&#x20;by&#x20;employing&#x20;a&#x20;thermodynamic&#x20;method&#x20;applied&#x20;by&#x20;Yun&#x20;et&#x20;al.&#x20;(1998a).</dcvalue>
