<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;effects&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;cold&#x20;rolling&#x20;condition&#x20;and&#x20;surface&#x20;segregation&#x20;of&#x20;sulfur&#x20;on&#x20;the&#x20;magnetic&#x20;induction&#x20;of&#x20;thin-gauged&#x20;3&#x20;%&#x20;Si-iron&#x20;alloy&#x20;strips&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;investigated.&#x20;During&#x20;final&#x20;annealing,&#x20;segregated&#x20;sulfur&#x20;was&#x20;observed&#x20;on&#x20;the&#x20;strip&#x20;surface&#x20;only&#x20;within&#x20;the&#x20;final&#x20;annealing&#x20;time&#x20;range&#x20;until&#x20;1.2&#x20;ks.&#x20;Because&#x20;texture&#x20;development&#x20;is&#x20;controlled&#x20;by&#x20;surface&#x20;segregation&#x20;and&#x20;grain-growth&#x20;kinetics,&#x20;a&#x20;cold&#x20;rolling&#x20;condition&#x20;less&#x20;severe&#x20;than&#x20;a&#x20;critical&#x20;condition&#x20;should&#x20;be&#x20;chosen&#x20;so&#x20;that&#x20;{110}[001]&#x20;Goss&#x20;grains&#x20;can&#x20;survive&#x20;up&#x20;to&#x20;1.2&#x20;ks&#x20;and&#x20;grow&#x20;to&#x20;form&#x20;a&#x20;complete&#x20;{110}[001]&#x20;Goss&#x20;texture.&#x20;A&#x20;magnetic&#x20;induction&#x20;higher&#x20;than&#x20;1.90&#x20;T&#x20;Was&#x20;obtained&#x20;when&#x20;a&#x20;final&#x20;reduction&#x20;ratio&#x20;of&#x20;60&#x20;%&#x20;was&#x20;chosen.</dcvalue>
