<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;pylochlore-free&#x20;undoped&#x20;and&#x20;10&#x20;mol%&#x20;Pr-3+,Pr-4+-doped&#x20;Pb(Mg1&#x2F;3Nb2&#x2F;3)O-3&#x20;ceramics&#x20;were&#x20;fabricated&#x20;and&#x20;their&#x20;cationic&#x20;ordering&#x20;structures&#x20;were&#x20;investigated.&#x20;By&#x20;using&#x20;X-ray&#x2F;electron&#x20;diffraction&#x20;techniques.&#x20;it&#x20;has&#x20;been&#x20;experimentally&#x20;verified&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;Pr-3+,Pr-4+-doping&#x20;enhances&#x20;nonstoichimetric&#x20;1:1&#x20;ordering&#x20;of&#x20;Mg2+&#x20;and&#x20;Nb5+&#x20;ions&#x20;in&#x20;Pb(Mg1&#x2F;3Nb2&#x2F;3)O-3.&#x20;These&#x20;results&#x20;are&#x20;attributed&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;increased&#x20;Mg&#x2F;Nb&#x20;ratio&#x20;which&#x20;occurs&#x20;when&#x20;substituting&#x20;higher&#x20;valency&#x20;ions&#x20;for&#x20;Pb2+.&#x20;(C)&#x20;1998&#x20;Elsevier&#x20;Science&#x20;B.V.</dcvalue>
