<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Superconductive&#x20;electronics&#x20;can&#x20;be&#x20;very&#x20;useful&#x20;in&#x20;very&#x20;high&#x20;speed&#x20;and&#x20;low&#x20;power&#x20;electronic&#x20;circuit&#x20;applications.&#x20;Even&#x20;though&#x20;continuous&#x20;developments&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;quality&#x20;of&#x20;high-T-c&#x20;thin&#x20;films&#x20;have&#x20;resulted&#x20;in&#x20;rapid&#x20;progress&#x20;in&#x20;high-T-c&#x20;analzog&#x20;devices,&#x20;digital-circuit&#x20;development&#x20;efforts&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;hindered&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;lack&#x20;of&#x20;a&#x20;reliable&#x20;Josephson-junction&#x20;fabrication&#x20;technique.&#x20;A&#x20;recent&#x20;study&#x20;of&#x20;single&#x20;flux&#x20;quantum&#x20;logic&#x20;circuits&#x20;shows&#x20;a&#x20;good&#x20;prospect&#x20;for&#x20;building&#x20;digital&#x20;superconductive&#x20;circuits&#x20;with&#x20;the&#x20;current&#x20;high-T-c&#x20;Josephson-junction-fabrication&#x20;technology.&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;work,&#x20;we&#x20;report&#x20;the&#x20;design&#x20;and&#x20;the&#x20;fabrication&#x20;of&#x20;a&#x20;basic&#x20;single&#x20;flux&#x20;quantum&#x20;cell,&#x20;along&#x20;with&#x20;the&#x20;preliminary&#x20;test&#x20;results.</dcvalue>
