<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">It&#x20;was&#x20;found&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;optimum&#x20;subhologram&#x20;dimension&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;composite&#x20;Fourier-transform&#x20;hologram&#x20;for&#x20;minimizing&#x20;image&#x20;blur&#x20;depends&#x20;on&#x20;object&#x20;depth&#x20;and&#x20;information&#x20;reduction&#x20;ratio.&#x20;Optimization&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;subhologram&#x20;dimension&#x20;permits&#x20;us&#x20;to&#x20;calculate&#x20;the&#x20;parameters&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;composite&#x20;Fourier-transform&#x20;hologram&#x20;for&#x20;its&#x20;applications&#x20;to&#x20;hologram&#x20;transmission&#x20;systems&#x20;and&#x20;to&#x20;electroholographic&#x20;three-dimensional&#x20;displays.</dcvalue>
