<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Researches&#x20;for&#x20;developing&#x20;high-performance&#x20;carbon&#x20;fibers&#x20;(CFs)&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;conductedinmany&#x20;applications&#x20;such&#x20;as&#x20;aerospace,&#x20;automobile&#x20;and&#x20;battery.&#x20;Since&#x20;conventional&#x20;carbonfibers&#x20;display&#x20;either&#x20;high&#x20;tensile&#x20;strength&#x20;or&#x20;high&#x20;modulus&#x20;properties&#x20;due&#x20;to&#x20;structural&#x20;limitations,&#x20;it&#x20;has&#x20;been&#x20;a&#x20;challenge&#x20;to&#x20;develop&#x20;carbon&#x20;fibers&#x20;with&#x20;both&#x20;tensile&#x20;strengthandmodulus&#x20;with&#x20;high&#x20;conductivity.&#x20;Therefore,&#x20;various&#x20;studies&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;conducted&#x20;toobtainhigh-performance&#x20;multifunctional&#x20;carbon&#x20;fibers.&#x20;Among&#x20;them,&#x20;carbon&#x20;nanomaterialsincluding&#x20;carbon&#x20;nanotubes&#x20;(CNTs),&#x20;graphene&#x20;oxide&#x20;(GO),&#x20;and&#x20;graphene&#x20;oxide&#x20;nanoribbon(GONR)&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;used&#x20;commonly&#x20;to&#x20;make&#x20;carbon&#x20;fibers&#x20;[1,2].&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;talk,&#x20;the&#x20;recent&#x20;development&#x20;of&#x20;carbon&#x20;nanomaterials-based&#x20;composite&#x20;carbon&#x20;fibers&#x20;will&#x20;be&#x20;introduced.</dcvalue>
