<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;effect&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;Haynes&#x20;282&#x20;microstructure&#x20;on&#x20;its&#x20;oxidation&#x20;behavior&#x20;was&#x20;investigated&#x20;using&#x20;X-ray&#x20;diffraction,&#x20;scanning&#x20;electron&#x20;microscopy,&#x20;electron&#x20;backscatter&#x20;diffraction,&#x20;transmission&#x20;Kikuchi&#x20;diffraction,&#x20;and&#x20;transmission&#x20;electron&#x20;microscopy.&#x20;Specimens&#x20;with&#x20;different&#x20;grain&#x20;sizes&#x20;were&#x20;oxidized&#x20;at&#x20;760&#x20;°C&#x20;in&#x20;O2&#x20;+&#x20;100&#x20;ppm&#x20;SO2&#x20;to&#x20;simulate&#x20;oxy-fuel&#x20;combustion&#x20;conditions.&#x20;Small-grained,&#x20;deformed&#x20;specimens&#x20;showed&#x20;a&#x20;high&#x20;oxidation&#x20;rate&#x20;at&#x20;the&#x20;initial&#x20;stage.&#x20;However,&#x20;the&#x20;small-grained&#x20;specimen&#x20;exhibited&#x20;superior&#x20;oxidation&#x20;resistance&#x20;at&#x20;the&#x20;later&#x20;stage&#x20;of&#x20;oxidation,&#x20;with&#x20;Cr&#x20;depletion&#x20;being&#x20;suppressed&#x20;only&#x20;in&#x20;this&#x20;specimen.&#x20;These&#x20;different&#x20;oxidation&#x20;behaviors&#x20;are&#x20;discussed&#x20;in&#x20;terms&#x20;of&#x20;Cr&#x20;and&#x20;Ti&#x20;supplied&#x20;from&#x20;the&#x20;matrix.&#x20;？&#x20;2022&#x20;The&#x20;Authors</dcvalue>
