<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">In&#x20;this&#x20;study,&#x20;we&#x20;simulate&#x20;and&#x20;analyze&#x20;a&#x20;CMOS&#x20;compatible&#x20;angle-sensitive&#x20;pixel&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;near-infrared&#x20;spectral&#x20;range.&#x20;A&#x20;set&#x20;of&#x20;diffractive&#x20;gratings&#x20;can&#x20;achieve&#x20;the&#x20;angle&#x20;sensitivity&#x20;where&#x20;the&#x20;gratings&#x20;can&#x20;be&#x20;integrated&#x20;into&#x20;the&#x20;CMOS&#x20;image&#x20;sensor&#x20;by&#x20;utilizing&#x20;metal&#x20;interconnect&#x20;layers.</dcvalue>
