- Abstract
- Experimental and theoretical study was performed for H-2 separation from CH4 /H-2 gas mixture (20(vol)% : 80(vol)% and 40(vol)% : 60(vol)%) by pressure swing adsorption(PSA) process. When composition of methane increased, hydrogen purity and recovery decreased. To solve this, adsorption time and P/F ratio played an important part. But, this two variables became causes that reduced recovery. The mathematical model includes the mass and heat balance, the linear driving force (LDF) equation, and the loading ratio correlation (LRC) model representing the multi-component adsorption equilibrium.
