- Abstract
- Tin oxide thin films anode for lithium rechargeable batteries were prepared by sputtering. The thin films deposited above than 100 degrees C showed more than 400 mAh/g beyond 100 cycles. Initial charge retention was reduced by lithium diffusion into pure tin oxide thin film. Lithium diffused tin oxide thin film showed no side reaction at the first charge, and stable cycle performance about 400 mAh/g or higher lasting longer than 75 cycles.
