- Abstract
- The hydrogen sorption properties of TiCl3-catalyzed Ca(BH4)(2) prepared by high energy ball milling have been investigated. It is demonstrated that Ca(BH4)(2) can be rehydrogenated under 90 bar of hydrogen at 623 K after undergoing a dehydrogenation reaction. The hydrogen content of the rehydrogenated sample is about 3.8%, which is more than half of that in the as-milled sample. This result indicates that Ca(BH4)(2) has a considerable potential for reversible hydrogen storage materials. (C) 2007 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
