Abstract
Ceramic membrane consisting of ceramic support and Ru doped TiO2 top layer which is thermally stable up to 800°C was prepared by the sol-gel method. After sintering at 800°C for 1 h, the average pore diameter of the Ru doped TiO2 top layer was about 200 ?. The Ru doped TiO2 composite membranes retained a crack-free microstructure and narrow particle size distribution even after calcination up to 800°C. ? 1997 Trans Tech Publications.
