|dc.description.abstract||5-methoxy-N,N-diisopropyltryptamine(5-MeO-DIPT), a psychoactive tryptamine derivat-ive, is an abused drug with hallucinogenic properties, which leads to physical and mental disorders. 5-MeO-DIPT (20 mg/kg) was orally administered to rats, and the urinary fractions were collected. For the quantification of 5-MeO-DIPT, 5-MeO-NIPT and 5-OH-DIPT, HILIC/MS/MS analysis was conducted with rat urine samples. Three deuterium-labeled compounds (5-MeO-DIPT-d4, 5-OH-DIPT-d4, and 5-MeO-NIPT-d4) were used for internal standards in the quantification of the analytes. The analytes were analyzed by multiple reactions monitoring (MRM) mode. For the method validation, selectivity, linearity, precision, accuracy and stability were tested. For the characterization of the metabolites of 5-MeO-DIPT, the Q1 scan and product ion (MS/MS) scan analyses were carried out. In this report we have aimed for the screening and confirmation of 5-MeO-DIPT and its metabolites by mass spectral methods, more complete conformation and characterization of mass fragments produced by using HILIC-ESI-MS/MS. In addition, we measured quantitatively 5-MeO-DIPT and its metabolites by our validated method.||-|
