C (chlorofluorocarbon) and HCFC (hydrochloroflourocarbon) materials were once used as refrigerants but their uses were prohibited in the Montreal Protocol because of their high ODP in 1987. Afterthat, HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) materials began to be used as alternative. HFC materials do not contain chlorine elements, so they do not contribute to ozone depletion. The use of HFC materials is being restricted by the Kigali Amendment as they have 1430 times the global warming potential of CO2. HFC-134a (CF3CH2F) is the most abundant refrigerant in the atmosphere, but it have to be decomposed as it significantly contribute to global warming. The decomposition of HFC-134a was performed in the fixed bed reactor under various reaction temperature, 1 bar and the atmosphere of N2 , HFC-134a. It was observed that various fluorine materials were produced and it was found that carbon deposition is a critical issue.-
