- Abstract
- The virtual reality (VR)-based interior design systems have the advantage of cost reductions and can support multiple users without spatial or temporal constraints. Recently, various head-mounted display (HMD) applications for VR using smartphones have become popular, and WebVR technology has been introduced to implement VR applications on the web. However, WebVR is still its early stages for use in the development of VR applications. Interaction methods for WebVR are limited compared to traditional VR development environments. In this paper, we propose an interactive VR system for interior design based on web technologies with a system that supports 3D and VR views with various interaction methods on the web.
