dc.description.abstractWe experimentally demonstrate application of an etched fiber immersed in liquid mxene as a saturable absorber in a passively mode-locked erbium doped fiber laser. In the experiment, we obtained soliton pulses with pulse duration of similar to 800 fs at a repetition rate of 6.22 MHz in the anomalous regime (-0.65 ps(2)) at the wavelength of 1556 nm.-
