dc.description.abstractPuh-erh tea was extracted with water and then fractionated sequentially with n-hexane, ethyl acetate,n-butanol to find antioxidative compounds. The fractions were examined on the antioxidant activity using twodifferent methods, free radical scavenging activity measurement and reductive potential. Those antioxidantactivities were compared to standard antioxidants such as butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA), butylatedhydroxytoluene (BHT), and αover BHA and BHT.-
