dc.description.abstract | We report up-conversion processes in Cr : Tm : No : YAG under the near infrared and the red excitations. Excitation spectra and decay-time measurements showed the energy transfer from Ho3+ to Cr3+, from Tm3+ to Cr3+, and from Tm3+ to Ho3+ ions. Selective excitations resolved the stepwise up-conversion of the Tm3+ (1)G(4) in the blue. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. | - |
