dc.description.abstract | Most hydrogen was produced by the steam reforming of methane. Hydrogen requires a lot of energy to be stored in a liquid state, it is difficult to store and transport it because of its difficult liquefaction conditions. Therefore, an eco-friendly hydrogen carrier is being studied as an alternative to this, and ammonia is particularly attracting attention. In this study, Ru-based Phosphorus-Based supports were prepared by a precipitation method. The prepared catalysts were characterized by N2-physisorption, NH3-TPD, H2-TPR, and XRD. The ammonia decomposition reaction was performed in a fixed bed reactor with NH3 and He under 500 ~ 600 oC, 1 bar, and GHSV = 30,000 h-1. It was found that the catalyst impregnated with Ru exhibited a higher ammonia conversion rate than the case where Ru was not impregnated. | - |
