Abstract
This paper deals with single-stranded DNA detection using Dirac point changes in a graphene-based FET device. The device utilized a shadow mask to minimize contamination of the graphene surface due to photoresist when depositing source/drain electrodes. Thereafter, micro-scale graphene channels were formed by dry etching. As single stranded DNA was adsorbed on the graphene surface of the fabricated device, it showed an efficient Dirac voltage shift up to 10V.
