Abstract
In this study, electrospun Nylon-6,6 nanofiber (Nylon-6,6 NFs) reinforced cyclic butylene terephthalate (CBT) composites were prepared by electrospinning process followed by hot press method and compared with the pristine Nylon-6,6 nanofiber in terms of tensile properties and light transparency. The formation of hydrogen bonds between CBT and nylon-6,6 molecules results enhancement of the mechanical property of the composite. Further, the high optical transmittance of the composite was achieved. (c) 2017 The Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
