Abstract
Plasticized cellulose acetates processed with biofibers like industrial hemp and henequen were investigated with respect to their thermal, morphological and rheological characteristics. Discernable fibril morphologies in the biocomposites were observed via a SEM investigation. Such morphological characteristics were further analyzed with the results of TGA and rheometry. Furthermore, the obtained rheological properties were also interpreted in conjunction with the formation and destruction of internal structure in biocomposites.
