Poly(9,9'-di-N-hexyl-2,7-fluorenyleneethynylene-m-phenyleneethynylene) (PDHFMPE) and poly(9,9'-di-n-hexyl-2,7-fluorenylene ethynylene-p-phenylene ethynylene) (PDHFPPE) were synthesized. Thermal characteristics of these polymers were determined by DSC and TGA to reveal that these polymers could be crosslinked at high temperature. UV-Vis absorption, IR and Raman spectra were examined also. Photoluminescence spectra showed green light emission with the PL max, at 490 nm for meta and 472 nm for para structure. These polymers could be easily crosslinked thermally or by UV-irradiation in an argon atmosphere. With the increasing of the crosslinking density, the intensity of photoluminescence decreased despite of slight change in absorption spectra.-
