dc.description.abstractElectrochemical and solid state chemical diffusion and Ag(+)double left right arrow Li+ ion exchange in LiNbO3 were studied. It was revealed that during free diffusion ion exchange, domain inversion proceeds on -c face only. No domain inversion takes place on +c face under the conditions investigated. Electrochemical ion exchange proceeds both on -c and +c faces. Domain inversion on -e face is adopted by this technique.-
