dc.description.abstractIn the field of radiology and skin treatment, the method of immobilizing a patient’s body and ensuring the reproducibility of their position are crucial for achieving high-quality medical image analysis and medical treatment. Common methods include strap band type, pad type utilizing pneumatic pressure, and mask type utilizing rigid facial features. However, these devices often rely on manual adjustment of the patient’s position, leading to potential lack of reproducibility depending on the operator’s skill level. Therefore, in this study, a treatment device was designed and fabricated based on a preliminary satisfaction survey regarding the pressure sensation of the subject’s head fixation. This device incorporates an automated mechanism to securely attach the pad to the skin when the patient lies down, along with a dual-layered particle mechanism for effective immobilization.-
