According to a report of the International Water Supply Association IWS A, a large amount of the total water production is lost[1]. Main cause of water loss is leakage from water distribution system such as joints of the pipes, valves, etc The leakage is attributed to deterioration of old pipes and damage of the pipes. e.g. corrosion, cracks, excessive water pressure, etc. To reduce the loss, water authorities of many countries have a great interest in leakage control programs of buried pipes. However, it is difficult to inspect the deterioration and damage of buried pipes below the ground. ? 2003 IEEE.-
