dc.description.abstract | The effect of alloying elements, annealing times and temperatures on the formation of the annealing textures was studied in two high purity aluminums with purities of 99.9951% and 99.9929%. In order to investigate the evolution of the R- and cube-orientations during annealing, highly cold rolled samples were annealed at different temperatures for different periods of time. The evolution of cold rolling and annealing textures strongly depended on the purity of the sample. In the sample having a purity of 99.9951%, relaxation processes took place during the cold rolling, which led to the formation of the pronounced B-orientation after cold rolling. The R-orientation was not observed in the annealing textures of this sample. A typical cold rolling texture developed in the less pure 99.9929% aluminum sample, which gave rise to the formation of the recrystallization textures comprising both strong cube- and R-orientations. | - |
