Abstract
Indium-mediated coupling of bromoacetonitrile and 2-bromopropionitrile with a variety of aromatic acyl cyanides afforded the corresponding aromatic alpha-cyano ketones in moderate to good yields under mild and neutral conditions. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
