Separation of oil in water emulsion was carried out by crossflow microfiltration using 3 types of microporous glass tubular membrane with different pore size of 0.27, 0.75, and 1.47 mu m. The effect of pore size on permeate flux and oil rejection was investigated and the filtration mechanisms were analyzed based on various types of filtration models.-
