Abstract
Sulfate radical-based advanced oxidation processes (SR-AOPs) show great promise in water purification due to their strong oxidizing properties and high selectivity. The future development of SR-AOPs relies heavily on the advancement of catalysts. Creating catalysts with excellent physicochemical properties, such as stability and high efficiency, is crucial. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)-based nanofibers have demonstrated outstanding performance in SR-AOPs. This review provides an overview of the synthesis strategies for MOFs-based nanofibers and their derivatives, discusses their synergistic effects, and explores their potential practical applications in water treatment. It aims to offer a comprehensive understanding and future directions for researchers in the field, thereby facilitating the transition of MOFs-based materials to practical water treatment solutions.
