- Abstract
- Thehealthbenefitsofphysicalactivityarewidelyacknowledgedandimpactvariousorgansystemsaspromotingoverallresilienceandlongevity.Followingtheresearchofdiscoveringsignalingmoleculesthatarereleasedinresponsetoexercisefromvariousorganssuchasskeletalmuscle,heart,neurons,andadiposetissueexertingtheireffectsthroughendocrine,paracrine,orautocrinepathways,numerousfunctionalmoleculescausedbyphysicalactivityhavebeenidentified.However,controversialissuespersistinconsistenciesbetweenresponsestoacuteandchronicexercise,anddifferencesobservedbetweenhumanandanimalexercisemodels.Therefore,tounderstandtheprecisemolecularmechanismsresponsibleforthesebenefits,andproviderobustgroundforfutureadvancementsinexercisebiomarkerresearch,well-structuredbiomarkerprofilinganalysiswithcontrolledsamplingmethodsfromeliteathletesisessential.Inthisstudy,weidentifiedvariousproteomicbiomarkersfromeliteathletesandthesuggestedproteinsshowedpromisingrelationshipswithenhancingcardiovascular,metabolicimmune,andneurologicalhealth,suggestingpotentialapplicationsintreatingcardiovasculardisease,type2diabetes,obesity,andpromotinghealthyaging.Inaddition,thisstudyemphasizesthesignificanceofusingameticuloussamplingstrategytoyieldprecisefindingsonfunctionalmoleculestriggeredbyexercise.
